An arthroscopic procedure will be performed on the knee of Missouri linebacker Will Ebner to determine the extent of the injury, the Columbia Daily Tribune is reporting.
The initial diagnosis is that Ebner suffered a lateral meniscus tear of his right knee in the fourth quarter of Thursday’s 27-12 loss to Nebraska.
“All we can say for now is that he’s out indefinitely,” team spokesman Chad Moller said via e-mail, “but that we’re hoping for good news and that he can be back at some point fairly soon.”
Ebner is currently the second-leading tackler for the Tigers.
