Speaking on ESPN’s GameDay pregame show, Florida head coach Urban Meyer said that one, Tim Tebow is still sleeping -- did I just type that out loud? -- and that, two, no decision has been made on the quarterbacks availability.
One interesting nugget the coach did share, however, is that, if Tebow gets medical clearance, he will play. Based on my recollection of previous reports throughout the week, I believe that’s the first time Meyer has taken that stance publicly.
Meyer said that Tebow would still need to pass another round of tests administered by the Gators’ medical staff before he would be given clearance to play against LSU tonight.
So, once again, we are back to where we were before a certain television station’s report yesterday evening, which is a game-time decision on Tebow’s status.
