Injury situation ‘extremely frustrating’ for Bradford

Not only does Oklahoma have to deal with a loss, to rival Texas, that drops them to an even .500 on the season, now they have to deal with yet another round of Sam Bradford injury questions.

Bradford aggravated a shoulder injury he suffered in the first half of the season opener against BYU -- see, I got it right this time! -- and did not return.

There’s no official word on the extent of the injury; Bradford will reportedly visit a doctor -- Dr. James Andrews, perhaps? -- at some point in the early portion of the upcoming week to determine the extent of the current damage and what course of action to take for the remainder of 2009.

Understandably, Bradford was very discouraged as to how this game played out, both on the scoreboard and on the injury front.

It’s extremely frustrating the way this season has gone for me,” Bradford said according to the Dallas Morning News. “To get hurt in the first game, to have to sit out three games and then to leave this one early and not be able to finish is really frustrating. It’s hard to put into words.”
