‘Huskers make change at QB

In the week leading up to today’s game against Baylor, head coach Bo Pelini played coy as to who would start at quarterback for Nebraska.

As it turns out, the reason for the coyness was because he was looking to make a change.

Freshman Cody Green, not surprisingly, got the start for the Cornhuskers, and the early returns are positive thus far.

The fan favorite has completed six of ten passes for 85 yards as the ‘Huskers lead 20-0 early in the third quarter. Most importantly coming off last week’s eight-turnover debacle, the freshman has yet to throw an interception.

Green replaced embattled starter Zac Lee, who had struggled mightily against teams from BcS conferences.
