Pryor: ‘You’re gonna have to kill me not to play’

To say that Terrelle Cryer Terrelle Pryor is looking for some redemption for both himself and Ohio State this weekend against Penn State would be an understatement.

Pryor is suffering from a leg injury suffered in the blowout win over New Mexico State last weekend, but it will take more than that to keep him out.

“I’m a little sore,” Pryor said according to the Columbus Dispatch. “But like I’ve told a bunch of people, you’re going to have to kill me not to play. I’m going to give it my all. I owe the seniors in there, I owe the team -- I owe them 100 percent of my play on Saturday.”

Even as he’s amped up for the return to his home state, the quarterback will be looking to stay on an even keel once the whistle blows.

“I’m not getting as hyped as I used to last year,” Pryor said, “screaming and trying to get everyone pumped up. I’m just going to try to be relaxed and just always be focused. I’m not really going to get hyped. When you get overhyped as a quarterback, you lose vision of what you’re supposed to do.”
