Wyoming suspends one, two others transfer

(Computer issues yet again, so here’s a press release to tide you over for a wee bit...)

University of Wyoming head football coach Dave Christensen announced on Wednesday that two UW football players have decided to leave the Cowboy Football program for personal reasons. Redshirt freshman defensive lineman Corey Orth of Buena Vista, Colo., and redshirt freshman linebacker Adam Barry of Simi Valley, Calif., have both decided to leave the program effective this week.

“We wish Corey (Orth) and Adam (Barry) all the best as they pursue other opportunities,” said Christensen.

Christensen also announced Wednesday that senior wide receiver Donate Morgan of Chicago, Ill., has been suspended from the Cowboy Football team indefinitely for violation of team rules.

Orth recorded five total tackles and recovered one fumble this season. Barry appeared in several games on special teams this season, but had no stats. Morgan has three catches for 50 yards on the season.

Christensen said he would not have any other comment regarding the three players’ status.
