Harbaugh on Raiders’ radar?

In the last month and a half, Jim Harbaugh‘s name has been attached to the openings at both Notre Dame and Kansas, as well as the Buffalo Bills vacancy.

Now, the Stanford coach is being linked to yet another job outside the college game, one that still technically has a head coach in place.

By way of PFT, ESPN‘s Adam Schefter and the NFL Network‘s Jason La Canfora both report that the Oakland Raiders have gauged the interest of/made overtures to Harbaugh.

Another report states that a four-year, $20 million contract might be enough to pry Harbaugh away from Palo Alto.

The Raiders, of course, have denied that they are talking to potential replacements for Tom Cable, including Harbaugh. Another report states that Harbaugh has rebuffed the Raiders’ overtures thus far.

Harbaugh signed a contract extension in mid-December that would technically keep him with the Cardinal through the 2014 season. Of course, as we all know, a coach’s contract is technically not worth squat when it comes to him leaving for another job.
