UVA lands new coordinator

After just over seven weeks on the job, Mike London has finally filled an important vacancy on his Virginia coaching staff, ESPN’s Joe Schad is reporting.

According to Schad, London has hired Bill Lazor as his new offensive coordinator.

The 37-year-old Lazor spent the last two seasons as the quarterbacks coach of the Seattle Seahawks. Lazor was not retained by new head coach Pete Carroll.

Lazor last served at the collegiate level in 2002 when he finished up his second season as Buffalo’s coordinator.
