Da’Rick picks Da’Vols

As Tennessee is learning, the recruiting gods giveth, and the recruiting gods taketh away.

Shortly after being stunned by the loss of seemingly rock-solid commitment J.C. Copeland to LSU, the Volunteers officially landed an even bigger fish on the other side of the ball.

As reported was expected to occur earlier this morning, five-star wide receiver Da’Rick Rogers announced at a press conference that he has signed a Letter of Intent to Tennessee.

Rogers had been a longtime commitment to Georgia, but was heavily pursued by new head coach Derek Dooley. Perhaps the biggest influence on his decision, though, was his high school teammate, quarterback Nash Nance, switching his commitment from Vanderbilt to the Volunteers.
