Cirque de Seantrel to continue

To the relief of a great many people, it was announced earlier this week that Seantrel Henderson would -- finally -- sign his Letter of Intent with Southern Cal on Thursday, and officially put an end to a month and a half worth of wavering, rumor and innuendo.

Unfortunately, as it turns out, it was just a tease. All just one big, freaking tease. And now my writing testicles are officially aqua in color.

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the LOI signing will not occur tomorrow as originally planned. Instead, Henderson’s high school is “targeting perhaps a day next week” for the Great Faxing of the LOI because of problems with “scheduling logistics”.

(As Michael Lev of the Orange County Register put it: “Do they not have Kinko’s in Minnesota?”)

Henderson, the No. 1 player in the country according to most major recruiting services, gave a verbal commitment to the Trojans on Feb. 3, but decided against signing as he awaited a sign as to what might happen with the NCAA and potential sanctions against the school.
