The underwhelming collegiate career of Carl Moore has taken yet another twist for the not-so-good as the Florida wide receiver has been a no-show at spring practice since Saturday.
It was on that day that Moore stormed off the practice field following a scrimmage, and he’s subsequently missed the past two sessions.
Moore missed the entire 2009 season due to a back injury, but offensive coordinator Steve Addazio said that the absence is not related to any type of health issue.
“He’s just taking care of some personal business right now,” Addazio said according to the Gainesville Sun. “It’s more personal than anything else.”
Moore, who came to Gainesville as a ballyhooed prospect as part of UF’s recruiting class -- has just 14 receptions for 184 yards and a touchdown. Needless to say, the bally hasn’t nearly lived up to the hoo.
Then again, given how loaded the Gators are at the position, it doesn’t really matter at this point in time when or even if Moore returns.
