‘Domestic incident’ leads to K-State RB’s arrest

The news from the annual rite of “Get Your Ass in Legal Trouble Following the End of Spring Practices” continues this afternoon, with a Kansas State football player the latest to find himself with an arresting conundrum.

Running back John Hubert, the Topeka Capital-Journal reports, was arrested Sunday in connection with a domestic incident at an on-campus residence.

Hubert and a female acquaintance were involved in the incident, and, upon responding, police found probable cause for the back to be placed under arrest and charged with domestic battery.

The redshirt freshman is battling for the No. 2 job behind starter Daniel Thomas.

A school official told the paper that the matter will be handled internally.
