Brothers Brown won’t be packaging themselves to Vols

Late last week, CFT contributor and two-term North Dakota state senator Keith Arnold noted a report involving the Brown brothers -- Bryce and Brian -- and their future football plans.

The report, from Mr.SEC.com, stated that Tennessee was looking to sign the brothers to play for the Volunteers.

That would have been quite the shift from where the story has been over the past couple months. And the key words there are “would” “have” and “been”.

According to a tweet from Joe Schad, the ESPN.com writer has been told that “Arthur Brown [is] sticking with KSU plan; Tennessee [is] not an option.”

KSU, of course, is Kansas State, the brothers’ home state school and the rumored option for both players when Bryce decided to leave the Vols and Arthur bolted from Miami.

As far as Bryce Brown is concerned, he seemingly has two options for the future per Schad: one, to return to Tennessee -- where head coach Derek Dooley has stressed in the past that the door is still open -- or, two, to join his brother with the Wildcats.

Bryce Brown will reportedly make a decision one way or the other next week.
