Karma calls, orders USC DE to... Tennessee

Well, this move certainly drips with irony. And will most assuredly be pleasing to the palates of some most all segments of Volunteer Nation.

According to Bruce Feldman of ESPN.com, USC defensive end Malik Jackson has decided to transfer from the Trojans football program as a direct result of NCAA sanctions. The program he’s decided to transfer to?

The Tennessee Volunteers.

While this will in no way, shape or form make up for the still-fresh wounds inflicted upon fans of the school by Lane Kiffin bolting Knoxville for Los Angeles and his dream job -- was that too much? Not enough? -- it will certainly give UT fans some measure of satisfaction. Oh hell, who am I kidding; there are couches burning in Knoxville in celebration as I type this.

Lane Kiffin lost a very talented member of his football program to the school he left seven months ago? As some would say, karma, she’s a nasty, vindictive wench.
