Top two returning WRs among four LaTech players suspended

Whether it’s something in the air or the water or whatever, there’s been a spate of suspensions over the past few days amongst several schools spread across different conferences.

That trend, unfortunately, continues this afternoon as Louisiana Tech announced the indefinite suspensions of a quartet of players.

Wide receivers Cruz Williams, R.P. Stuart and Tim Molton, and linebacker Kiamni Washington were all suspended by new head coach Sonny Dykes for unspecified violations of team rules.

Yardage-wise, Williams and Stuart are the Bulldogs leading returning receivers having totaled 259 and 249 yards, respectively, in 2009.

Molton transferred from LSU to LaTech in September of last year, and sat out the 2009 season to both satisfy NCAA transfer rules and rehab a serious knee injury.
