Cal loses a trio of coaches

Obviously, there are much greater coaching changes going on in college football, as demonstrated here, here, here and here, but you can officially add Cal to the list of teams with adjustments to make on staff.

After all, tis the season.

According to a press release by the university, Golden Bears wide receivers coach Kevin Daft will not return next season. “Kevin is a quality person with high character who made significant contributions during his time on our staff,” said head coach Jeff Tedford in the release. “We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

Although not stated by the release, the university also confirmed that strength and conditioning coach John Krasinski would also not be returning next season.

Cal, who is coming off a disappointing 5-7 season, is also looking for a new offensive line coach, as Steve Marshall is headed to new Pac-12 member Colorado.
