Bruins hit with another o-line injury

Earlier this month, UCLA lost starting tackle Jeff Baca to a fractured ankle.

A week later, Baca’s spring replacement suffered his own bad break, although not even remotely as serious.

According to the Orange County Register, starting guard Sean Sheller suffered a broken bone in his right hand and will likely be held out of contact for the remainder of the spring. Sheller, who started 10 games at tackle in 2010 due to Baca’s academic suspension, had moved back to the tackle position following Baca’s injury.

The good news for the Bruins is that both Baca and Sheller are expected to be healthy in time for the start of summer camp.
