Looks like somebody took a page from the Oregon handbook on fashion in college football.
And by somebody, we mean Arizona State, who released pictures of their new Nike uniforms yesterday. You can view the unis -- which are new for all ASU sports -- on their Facebook page. For those smart enough not to have a Facebook, you can see them on ASU"s official athletic website.
The new threads are definitely a radical transition, especially on the helmet, but that is the state of college football. Outside of the likes of Nebraska, Penn State and Alabama, it feels like just about every program is playing the uniform game where everyone’s third or fourth color is black.
It’s what recruits want, and programs like ASU need every recruiting advantage they can get. As someone in their early twenties, they appeal to me, but that’s neither here nor there.
What do you all think? You know the drill.
