And just to be clear, we’re talking about Miami (OH), not Miami (FL).
Regardless, Marshall and Miami (OH) will be facing off in a home-and-home in 2013-14. Then, after a two-year hiatus, the series will resume again in 2017-18, an extension that was only recently added. Marshall will be the home team in 2013 and 2017.
“It is great to have the opportunity to resume our rivalry with Miami,” Marshall AD Mike Hamrick said. “From the time the series started in 1905 through our days in the Mid-American Conference, it has been a great series and we are looking forward to starting it back up.”
