In case you missed it, the game between Tulsa and Oklahoma State finally ended after 3:00 a.m. on Sunday morning this past weekend due to a weather delay. In the process, unfortunately, the Golden Hurricane lost their starting quarterback G.J. Kinne.
Kinne went down with the knee injury in the first quarter of the game and did not return. That injury has since been diagnosed as a Grade II MCL tear and Kinne is expected to miss 2-4 weeks.
Prior to the injury, Kinne had thrown for 525 yards and 5 touchdowns. It’s expected that backup Kalen Henderson will take over Tulsa’s offense for the immediate future.
