Louisville QB Stein questionable against Marshall

Louisville is coming off a bye week, but if the Cardinals’ next game against Marshall were to be played today, starting quarterback Will Stein would be a no-go.

Speaking to the media today, UL coach Charlie Strong said that Stein, a junior, is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Herd. Stein suffered a shoulder injury in 24-17 Week 3 victory over in-state rival Kentucky.

If Stein is unable to go, Strong said that freshman Teddy Bridgewater, the highly-touted recruit from Miami Northwestern High School for whom fans have been clamoring to see, would get the start. Bridgewater played the rest of the Kentucky game after Stein left with his injury. Bridgewater went on to throw for 106 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the win.
