Arizona’s receiving yardage leader likely out vs. Utah

As Arizona attempts to rebound from a miserable start to a season that has featured just two wins and the firing of their head coach, they’ll have to do so without the services of one of the most productive members of their passing attack.

Dan Buckner suffered a separated shoulder in the loss to Washington Saturday and will not play this weekend against Utah. Buckner currently leads the Wildcats in receiving yards with 568 and is third in receptions with 38.

Additionally, redshirt freshman cornerback Cortez Johnson, who made his first career start against the Huskies, is not expected to play against the Utes after suffering what’s believed to be his second concussion of the season.

Johnson may not be the only hit the Wildcats’ secondary takes; safety Robert Golden and cornerback Shaquille Richardson are listed as questionable due to injuries. Richardson missed Saturday’s loss, although that was due to a suspension for the UCLA brawl game.
