OU lineman busted for misdemeanor assault and battery

Oh, yeah. That’s what you want to hear about on a Sunday if you’re Bob Stoops.

Unfortunately for Stoops, that appears to be the case with senior offensive lineman Stephen Good. The Tulsa World is reporting via confirmation from a local police officer that Good was involved in an altercation at a restaurant near OU’s campus at around 1 a.m. Sunday morning, hours after the Sooners’ 41-25 win over Texas A&M.

According to a Norman police spokesman, Good allegedly shoved a victim’s head against a wall, resulting in a complaint. Details surrounding what started the altercation haven’t been reported yet. Good was arrested, but allowed to sign the municipal complaint and leave the premises.

Good has 11 starts on OU’s line in his four-year career in Norman.
