Jaz Reynolds not playing for Oklahoma

Oklahoma leads Iowa State 23-6 at the half, and it doesn’t look like the Cyclones are going to have what it takes to make it two spectacular wins in a row.

Even more impressive is that the Sooners are going into the half with their 17-point lead without the efforts of receiver Jaz Reynolds. Reynolds suffered shoulder injury last week against Baylor, but the OU coaching staff indicated this past week he should be okay to play today.

Turns out, that wasn’t the case. Reynolds posted from his Twitter account that he would be back for next week’s game against Oklahoma State.

Reynolds has been very productive for OU this year, recording nearly 700 receiving yards and five touchdowns.
