Ohio State won’t be the only team getting a dual-staff waiver from the NCAA this offseason.
UCLA will receive a similar waiver from the NCAA as the Bruins’ interim coaching staff -- sans Rick Neuheisel -- prepares for the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl while new coach Jim Mora, plus whomever he brings on to the new coaching staff, will be out recruiting for next season.
Members of the current staff can still recruit just as long as UCLA doesn’t go over the permissible number of coaches recruiting.
Illinois, which is now working with new coach Tim Beckman, has applied for a similar waiver as well.
