Rutgers again completes coaching staff

Nearly a month after completing his new Rutgers coaching the first time, Kyle Flood has completed it a second time.

Reportedly.

According to the Newark Star-Ledger, and citing a source close to the program, Flood has hired Joe Rossi as his new special teams coordinator. Rossi has spent the past five years as an assistant at Maine, the last three as defensive coordinator/linebackers coach.

The school has yet to confirm Rossi’s hiring.

Flood officially completed his staff Feb. 21 with the hiring of Jim Panagos as defensive line coach. Less than two weeks later, he lost a pair of assistants to NFL jobs -- special teams coordinator Phil Galiano and running backs coach Ben Sirmans to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and St. Louis Rams. respectively.

Norries Wilson was hired last week to replace Sirmans.
