OK State DB tears ACL too

On the same day that it was announced Colorado receiver Paul Richardson had torn his ACL, a season-ending injury, Oklahoma State discovered one of their defensive backs suffered a similar fate.

On his Twitter account, Cowboys backup cornerback Andrae May said he had torn his ACL and was set for surgery sometime next week.

“Torn ACL, ain’t that about a ___, time to work harder,” May said.

It’s not been made immediately clear how long May will be sidelined with the injury.

The senior had 19 tackles and a fumble recovery last season. He’s been listed behind Brodrick Brown on OSU’s spring depth chart.
