Ex-Clemson WR tweets he’s going to another Big East school

Shortly after the end of the 2011 season, it was reported -- or, tweeted -- that former Clemson wide receiver Bryce McNeal would be moving on to UConn.

Well, the conference was correct; the school ended up changing.

McNeal graduated from Clemson on Friday as he was expected to do, and will now move on to play one year at Louisville. The move has been making its way through the rumor mill over the past week and was picked up by the Louisville Courier-Journal, among other publications.

McNeal, a four-star member of Clemson’s 2009 recruiting class, played in the first three games of the 2011 season, but had just one reception for eight yards. He decided to transfer from the program last September.

Speaking of the Cards, it’s safe to say that former Auburn quarterback Zeke Pike will indeed be joining the team. Reportedly, all that’s left is paperwork.
