Former Boston College running back Montel Harris made his Temple debut tonight against Villanova. It didn’t last very long.
ESPN is reporting that Harris has a hamstring injury and the back was seen on the sideline in street clothes. It doesn’t appear to be too serious. BC’s all-time leading rusher had just six carries for 15 yards in limited action tonight.
Not that it matters. The Owls are currently up 35-10 on Nova in the third quarter. In this case, better safe than sorry.
Harris was dismissed from BC this offseason for violating team rules after compiling 3,735 career yards.
