Michigan WR sentenced to six months probation

After multiple delays, the legal process for Michigan wide receiver Jerald Robinson has run its course.

Robinson was sentenced to six months probation today in Washtenaw County’s 15th District Court stemming from a charge of malicious destruction of property he received in April. The receiver previously pleaded guilty to the charge in August after multiple delays to his pretrial hearing.

The terms of his probation include 24 hours of community service and no alcohol or drug use. He must also pay $440 in court fees and fines plus oversight of $125 and a to-be-determined restitution. If Robinson adheres to the terms, he will have the conviction erased from his record.

Robinson’s charge comes from an incident in February where he lifted (and broke) a parking gate.

Robinson has two catches for 19 yards so far this season.
