Illinois, Michigan dealing with QB injuries

A damp day in Ann Arbor has turned into, well, a damper for both Illinois and Michigan.

Denard Robinson was sidelined for a brief time in the first half with what was reported to be a finger injury. Robinson ran up the middle and was tackled hard late in the first quarter. He was replaced by Russell Bellomy.

He’s been able to come back into the game, and thankfully, throwing is not a huge part of his game.

Additionally, Illinois quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase has what appears to be a shoulder/neck area injury. He was hurt in the second quarter when he was tackled behind on a run up the field. He’s yet to return to the game.

Michigan currently leads 17-0.
