Texas Tech down its leading receiver against K-State

No, 15 Texas Tech is going to try to upset another AP top-five team in No. 4 Kansas State today without its leading receiver. Per Chris Level of RedRaiderSports.com, TTU tight end Jace Amaro will not play, likely because of an upper body injury that he’s been dealing with over the past couple of weeks.

Amaro missed last week’s game against TCU. He suffered the injury in a win earlier this month over West Virginia. Amaro leads the team with 394 yards receiving and has four touchdowns on the season.

Additionally, cornerback Cornelius Douglas is out and defensive back Tre Porter is questionable.
