Michigan DE gets one year probation for home invasion

Just a few weeks after Michigan running back Fitz Toussaint received 10 months probation for driving a vehicle while visibly impaired, Wolverines defensive end Frank Clark has learned his sentence as well.

Per Mlive.com, Clark has been given one year of probation for his felony charge of second-degree home invasion. Clark pleaded guilty to the charge two months ago for theft of a MacBook Air from a student’s dorm room this past June.

As part of his punishment, Clark was ordered to have no contact with the victim; pay $1,741 in fines; abstain from drugs and alcohol; and provide proof of full-time school enrollment and/or employment. If he complies with the terms of his probation, his record will be wiped clean since he is a first-time offender.

Neither Clark nor his lawyer commented on the sentencing.

In three starts this season, Clark has 18 tackles, three pass breakups and one forced fumble.
