Will Muschamp kicks off SEC Media Days with a response to Ohio State

There was a brief offseason-y brouhaha earlier this month when an “exclusive report” from Clay Travis said Ohio State coach Urban Meyer “turned in” a former assistant at Florida for a secondary bump violation.

Meyer ultimately denied turning in anyone, but did admit Ohio State forwarded a complaint to the Big Ten office.

Regardless of who officially did what, it was obvious Florida coach Will Muschamp was going to be asked about it at SEC Media Days. And, suffice to say, the coach delivered in his response.

“We appreciate our friends from Ohio making sure we follow NCAA rules,” Muschamp said. “They certainly know something about NCAA rules.”

Well-played, Muschamp. Or, should I say, Brady Hoke?
