Report: Keith Price to start for UW in Apple Cup

After a brief one-game sabbatical, it appears Keith Price will be back under center for Washington.

Citing an unnamed source, Seattle radio personality Dave “Softy” Mahler reported early Friday afternoon that Price will get the start for tonight’s Apple Cup rivalry game against Washington State. Price suffered an injury to his right (throwing) shoulder in the Nov. 15 loss to UCLA and did not play in the blowout win over Oregon State last weekend.

Price had started 25 straight games for the Huskies prior to having that streak snapped against the Beavers.

Making his first collegiate start in place of the injured Price, Cyler Miles completed 15-of-24 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown in the win over OSU. An official announcement on whether Price or Miles will get the start is not expected until shortly before kickoff.
