For the second time in less than 10 months, Travis Bell has found himself on the wrong side of a pair of handcuffs.
According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the West Virginia cornerback was arrested very early Sunday morning following an incident involving the player and his girlfriend. The Post-Gazette writes that "[a]fter an argument with his girlfriend outside a parked vehicle at Creekside Condos in Morgantown, W.Va., Bell... failed all field sobriety tests, was booked for DUI and driving with a suspended or revoked license.”
Back in mid-February, Bell was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery following an incident involving his girlfriend. It’s unknown if that was the same girlfriend involved in the most recent incident.
WVU has not commented on the arrest or what Bell’s status with the football team will be moving forward.
In 2013, Bell started nine of the 12 games in which he played.
