UPDATED 12:34 p.m. ET: McMillan announced that he has verbally committed to Ohio State. The decision came less than 24 hours after an in-home visit from OSU head coach Urban Meyer and several defensive assistants.

“There was just something special about Ohio State,” the five-star recruit said.

Monday afternoon, yet another highly-touted player in the Class of 2014 is set to make a decision on where he will ply his future football wares.

The latest to do so is Raekwon McMillan, a five-star linebacker out of Hinesville, Georgia. McMillan is scheduled to make his verbal commitment live at noon ET on both the NBC Sports Network and on the Internet at Rivals.com.

McMillan has whittled his choices down to five finalists: Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Ohio State.

Rivals.com recruiting expert Mike Farrell sees McMillan opting for the Buckeyes, although he also could see the Tide sneaking in and landing yet another top-rated player.

McMillan is rated as the No. 1 inside linebacker in the country by Rivals. He’s also the No. 1 player at any position in the state of Georgia and the No. 19 player overall in the Class of 2014.
