Report: Ben Wilkerson interviewed for LSU OL coach position

Former LSU center Ben Wilkerson was recently interviewed by Les Miles for the Tigers’ open offensive line coach position, according to a report on Sunday from the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

Wilkerson is the current offensive line coach at Grambling and a former Tigers All-American. He won the Rimington Award as the nation’s top center in 2004. He worked as a graduate assistant under Miles in 2011.

LSU is looking to replace departing line coach Greg Studrawa, who is leaving to pursue other opportunities.

The Tigers have also interviewed former LSU lineman Rob Sale and Virginia Tech tight ends coach Jeff Grimes, formerly the line coach at Auburn.
