News regarding the future playing surface at Notre Dame wasn’t the only football thing going on in South Bend Saturday.
For the fifth time in his tenure, head coach Brian Kelly put his Irish through their paces for the annual spring game to close out spring practice 2014. Heading into the spring-ending session, the main storyline -- well, one of the main storylines -- was quarterback Everett Golson‘s return to the big stage -- or at least the practice game for his eventual return to the big stage.
