Tennessee freshman DT injured in car accident

One member of Tennessee’s Class of 2014 was injured in a car accident Sunday. Fortunately, it seems the damage done by the vehicle accident appears to be nothing much more than broken bones.

According to Chattanooga Times Free Press, defensive tackle Charles Mosley was injured in the accident Sunday, although details of the accident are light at this point. The report by the Times Free Press say Tennessee head coach Butch Jones is currently waiting for more information on Mosley’s status, but there are some reports suggesting Mosley suffered a broken leg.

Mosley was a three-star recruit in Tennessee’s recruiting class according to Rivals.com. Mosley accepted an offer from Tennessee over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and others. Until the details of his injury ae confirmed, it would be unfair to evaluate what this means for his immediate future at Tennessee.
