Highest-priced ticket for neutral site game? Red River Shootout

As has ofttimes been the case, tickets to the annual Red River Shootout Showdown would prove steep for a family of four. Or even two.

According to TicketCity.com by way of The Oklahoman, the average ticket price for this year’s Oklahoma-Texas in the Cotton Bowl comes in at a whopping $362. That makes OU-UT the highest-priced game at a neutral site location in the nation.

Next up is Arkansas-Texas A&M, played in the Arlington home of the Dallas Cowboys, at $286 a ticket. In fact, three of the top four most expensive games are in the state of Texas, the other being UCLA-Texas.

The Bruins-Longhorns non-conference clash is being played in Arlington as well.

Below are the remaining games in the priciest Top 10:

Georgia-Florida in Jacksonville, Fla. ($277)
West Virginia-Alabama in Atlanta, Ga. ($222)
LSU-Wisconsin in Houston, Tex. ($186)
Army-Navy in Baltimore, Md. ($176)
Purdue-Notre Dame in Indianapolis ($174)
Navy-Notre Dame in Landover, Md.($159)
