Domestic incident leads to charges for K-State’s Terrell Clinkscales

Big 12 Arrest Day at CFT continues, with Kansas State the latest school from that conference forced to deal with one of its football players stepping across a legal line.

Early Sunday morning, the Topeka Capital-Journal reported, Kansas State’s Terrell Clinkscales was originally arrested on a failure-to-appear warrant and suspicion of witness/victim intimidation. A day later, Clinkscales was slapped with one additional charge: criminal damage to property.

The failure-to-appear warrant stems from Clinkscales being cited for expired tags or an unregistered vehicle. The other two charges are connected to a domestic incident, although the details surrounding that weren’t released.

The school stated that it is “aware of the situation, and the matter will be handled internally.”

K-State plays UCLA in the Jan. 2 Alamo Bowl; whether the defensive tackle will be available remains to be seen. In 2014, the JUCO transfer played in seven games for the Wildcats.
