And now we know (a little more of) the rest of the story.
Earlier Wednesday, reports surfaced that Alabama’s Cyrus Jones was arrested in connection to a domestic incident that occurred overnight. Jones remains in the Tuscaloosa County Jail on charges of domestic violence harassment and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors, and in lieu of a $1,000 bond.
According to a statement released by the Tuscaloosa Police Department a short time ago, the charges stem from Jones allegedly damaging an unnamed female’s cell phone earlier in the day Tuesday and then threatening her with assault in front of several witnesses. Jones was arrested and charged several hours after the initial incident.

UA has yet to comment on Jones’ arrest or what if any impact it will have on his status with the team moving forward.
