Snoop Dogg’s son gives up football, UCLA loses 4-star recruit

Hopefully Snoop Dogg didn’t really throw out all of his USC gear, because it looks like he will no longer have a conflict of interest going forward. Cordell Broadus has reportedly given up football.

As first reported by Bruin Report Online, Broadus will remain a student at UCLA after already attending summer classes on campus. Broadus reportedly wanted to break away from the football life and pursue his own goals. Perhaps Snoop Dogg was pushing football too much on Broadus, which seems to be the accusation. Anyone who watched the reality documentary series on ESPN in the offseason may have picked up on some of that at times.

Broadus was a four-star recruit in UCLA’s Class of 2015, causing Snoop Dogg to say he would throw away all of his USC gear to support the Bruins. Snoop Dogg is a long time USC fan, so here’s hoping he still has some Trojan gear laying around.
