It has been years since the show LOST was on TV and some people are still trying to come to an understanding of what happened in the series finale, but one of the iconic moments of the show took place in the season finale to the first season. In it, Jack Shephard addresses the castaways left from a plane crash on an unknown island that it is time to put aside their differences and tart learning to live together before they die alone. It has become know as the “Live Together, Die Alone” speech and it has been a recurring theme in TV shows and movies before and after LOST. At the helm of a 1-3 Texas Longhorns program, head coach Charlie Strong seems to be having his “Live Together, Die Alone” moment not even a full one-and-a-half season into his tenure.
On Saturday Texas was getting its butt whooped by TCU, and at halftime at least one player (defensive back Kris Boyd) took to his phone to retweet messages about transferring to Texas A&M. Boyd has since apologized for that incident, and Strong addressed the incident by saying discipline will be handled internally. This is not the first time Boyd has apparently spent halftime checking his phone.
Duke Thomas said Kris Boyd told him he's always been on his phone at halftime. He told Boyd, "This isn't HS anymore. Can't do that here."

Things are not going well at Texas. Every way you look at it, the numbers are bad. Some are already hoping Chip Kelly, off to an equally disappointing season with the Philadelphia Eagles, looks at his situation and says he has to go back. The Longhorns are 1-3 and just got stomped by TCU. With Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and West Virginia all still ahead on the schedule, getting to a bowl game is starting to look about as rough as the chances everyone not in the Oceanic Six are of getting off the island. With questions continuing to surround the future of Strong as head coach, the head coach had this to say today;
Strong: "Either we are going to get strong, or we are going to fall apart. And we aren’t going to fall apart."
