Oklahoma won the outright Big 12 championship last fall and was selected as the fourth-seed in the College Football Playoff. The Sooners were ousted by ACC champion Clemson in the Orange Bowl playoff semifinal, but the Sooners are expected to be a playoff contender once again in 2016 in addition to one of the favorites in the Big 12.
