If there were ever a college football head coach to be involved in a situation like this, I’m guessing a lot of folks would assume it’d be Bobby Petrino.
Yesterday, Petrino’s Twitter account “liked” a tweet from an adult website that contained extremely “suggestive” hashtags. For a screen snap of what may or may not be NSFW depending on your employer, click HERE.
Thursday morning, Petrino issued a statement claiming that his account was hacked.
A school spokesperson told the Louisville Courier-Journal that Petrino has not personally been on his Twitter account since summer camp opened Aug. 3. The newspaper went on to write that the “U of L doesn’t know which person liked the inappropriate picture but that the staff is doing everything possible to secure the account.”
Petrino is in the midst of his second stint as the Cardinals’ head coach. He came to the U of L after a motorcycle accident led to the revelation of an affair with a female staffer that triggered his ouster at Arkansas.
