Boston College received a bit of great news Monday. Defensive lineman Harold Landry, the nation’s leader in sacks in the 2016 season, has announced he will be back to play for the Eagles in 2017. Boston College announced the news with a released statement from Landry on Twitter.

Landry recorded 16.5 sacks this season for a total loss of 143 yards (which also led the nation, by far). The junior will have one final year of eligibility to use at Boston College, which has played well on defense in recent seasons.
