Michigan police reportedly investigating threatening tweets sent at Jim Harbaugh

Earlier today, news broke that a former Michigan player had apparently sent threatening tweets at Wolverines head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Elysee Mbem-Bosse reportedly wrote that Michigan is “open carry. Let’s not forget.”

According to a report from Aaron McMann of MLive, University of Michigan police are investigating the case. No arrests have been made and no charges have been leveed.

The University of Michigan Police Department launched an investigation Monday night into social media threats apparently aimed at the Michigan football coach, Melissa Overton, deputy chief and department spokeswoman confirmed to MLive on Tuesday.

Overton would not go into detail of the those threats, citing an ongoing investigation. No one has been arrested or charged.

Mbem-Bosse signed with the Wolverines and played in five games last fall. He is no longer listed on the Wolverines’ online roster.
