Air Force has removed running back Cole Fagan from the roster, effective immediately. Although the specifics for the decision have not been reported, a statement from Air Force confirms Fagan is under investigation.
“Cole Fagan has been removed from the team pending an ongoing investigation,” a statement from Air Force bluntly said (via The Gazette). For now, no additional information has been offered and we will have to wait and see if more information is revealed about Fagan’s situation moving forward.
Fagan rushed for a team-high 997 yards and seven touchdowns for the Falcons in 2018. With Fagan no longer in the picture, barring a surprising reversal on this particular decision, Air Force will likely be getting the ball in the hands of Kadin Remsberg a bit more. Remberg was Air Force’s second-leading rusher last fall with 583 yards and three touchdowns on 100 carries (Fagan had 185 carries to lead the team).
